We offer a unique selection of conference facilities to suit all occasions. If you need a venue for your business or private function you can choose from our extensive range of academic and purpose built meeting rooms. In addition, we offer a wide range of residential accommodation with bed and breakfast, self catering or full board.

A large parkland area on the outskirts of the village of Cottingham, approximately three and a half miles from the main University campus.

The Lawns has seven purpose built residential halls and a large multi-functional central complex. This means we can accommodate all your residential and conference needs without moving off site. There are 830 bedrooms in all, each with wash-hand basins and private balconies.

The largest meeting room in the central complex can comfortably seat up to 300 delegates with a choice of syndicate rooms seating from 6 to 60.

The concourse offers 6,000 sq ft of exhibiton space and the centre provides free parking for 300 cars. The Lawns is justifiably proud of its reputation for the highest standards of service and for the quality and variety of its catering.

Taylor Court is situated on the main University campus and accommodation is provided within the self catering en-suite Taylor Court Flats. Taylor Court comprised of 12 houses, each containing three flats with eight bedrooms per flat. Each flat has a fully equipped kitchen/dining area for guest’s use. Each single bedroom is equipped with a computer point and has an en-suite shower room. Bed linen is provided but guests need to bring their own towels and toiletries. There are two bedrooms catering for disabled delegates and car parking is adjacent.

All catering and meeting rooms can be provided in Staff House which has been recently refurbished and is within close proximity to Taylor Court.

Universities play an increasingly important role in the conference market and two thirds of the UK’s Universities take conference business. At Hull University we are able to offer facilities that exceed many of the local hotels. The availability of areas for registration, refreshments, exhibitions and catering are not always readily available at some venues, where you may have to share facilities with other groups staging their events.

Situated on the main University campus is Middleton Hall, which can seat up to 514 delegates and is suitable for public performances as well as conferences.

There is exhibition space and seven tiered lecture theatres are close by. Middleton Hall offers an extensive range of high quality audio-visual equipment with full technical support.

An excellent variety of further meeting rooms are also available on campus.
