Situated among spectacular scenery with mountains and moors on the doorstep, The Bridge End is less than 40 minutes from Manchester City Centre, Manchester Airport, Stockport; and Cheshire towns such as Alderley Edge and Wilmslow.
Offering broadband internet, state of the art laptops, an LCD display screen, projector and IT support on tap, this is the ideal place for management meetings and training workshops, providing up to date facilities with a rural flavour!
 
Accommodation is available for delegates wanting to stay overnight (or longer), our breakfasts are superb, refreshments are available all day and with Grumbly’s bistro next door providing buffets there is no need to leave the building except to relax in the wonderful surroundings. What more could you need?
Within 30 metres of The Bridge End is an excellent selection of pubs, restaurants and shops and some of the best walking country in Britain. With nothing to disturb you other than horse-riders making stately progress through the village, what better environment could there be for absorbing new skills or to be inspired with new ideas?
Accommodation
Our four delightfully appointed contemporary bedrooms, designed and completed in early 2008, are a blend of traditional rural charm combined with a cosmopolitan twist, in keeping with the character of the village. They all have excellent bathrooms, LCD TV, iPod players, hairdryers, a tasty range of nibbles and very comfortable beds!
Luxury breakfast
On weekday mornings, we serve a substantial luxury continental breakfast offering croissants, Pain-au-Chocolat, Danish pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and hot bread, fruit juice, toast and jam or English marmalade. We also serve your choice of tea and coffee.
On weekend mornings we offer our usual luxury continental breakfast and a choice of locally produced bacon and sausage sandwiches.
And The Bridge End is able to offer a 3 course dinner option at our neighbouring restaurant Grumbleys Bistro
Food and drink
You’re spoilt for choice at the Bridge End, whether it's a light lunch, an evening meal or just a drink you require.
Next door to The Bridge End is Grumbley’s Bistro where you can indulge yourself with the sort of cuisine you might more readily expect to find in the finer parts of a major city.
Across the road is The Bulls Head, the oldest pub in the village, which offers refreshment and live music.
Also across the road is the George Hotel which offers excellent value pub food virtually all day every day!
Close to The Bridge End is The Pack Horse that has won awards for great food, the Skillet Restaurant where you can dine at your leisure and The Royal Hotel - a grand village hostelry offering great food and rooms. There is also The Kinder Lodge, a lively pub where an outdoor screen makes it a favourite for watching sport and The Sportsman, a friendly hotel with a high quality reputation for good food and accommodation in an idyllic location. The Lantern Pike, Inn at nearby Little Hayfield, guarantees a warm welcome with a roaring fire, good food, fine real ales and comfortable bedrooms.
