Converted from Queen Anne stables in 1798, Rathsallagh is a large comfortable house situated in 530 acres of peaceful parkland with a walled garden and its own 18-hole Championship Golf Course. It is central to some of the most beautiful countryside in eastern Ireland. Glendalough, the Wicklow mountains, the Japanese Gardens & National Stud and the Curragh, and Punchestown racecourses are all close by, yet Dublin is less than one hour’s drive.
The O’Flynn family and their staff look forward to welcoming you to Rathsallagh. The atmosphere is happy and relaxed with log & turf fires, central heating throughout and luxurious bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms.
The food is Country House cooking at its best and is organically produced by local growers and in Rathsallagh’s gardens. Game in season and fresh fish from the Wexford coast are specialities. In addition to winning the National breakfast award four times, Rathsallagh was also voted Country House Restaurant of the Year 2002 and won an AA Five Diamond Award for Guest Accommodation 2004/2005.
