Dissington Hall offers you the chance to escape with your party to the calm and classical surroundings of a magnificent Georgian estate. With private or even exclusive use of Dissington Hall and its beautiful grounds, your event will become a special occasion.

We offer fine cuisine, a comprehensive wine list, a private bar, superb conference facilities, dancing to live music or a disco, beautiful suites of period rooms, a heated marquee, and a civil marriage licence.

Dissington Hall is a family run business with a skilled and highly professional approach to your event, be it a family wedding reception or a high-profile product launch.

What does your Comprehensive Day Conference Package include?

The following services and equipment are fully inclusive within our day delegate rate.

  • Arrival coffee, tea, orange juice or mineral water
  • Mid-Morning coffee or tea with mini Danish pastries
  • Afternoon coffee, tea, orange juice or mineral water served with biscuits
  • Hire of main session room between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm
  • Main meeting room set with any of the following: notepads and pencils, one flip chart, paper and pens, overhead projector and jugs of iced water
  • Two course hot and cold Chefs selection buffet lunch with coffee, tea, orange juice or mineral water

What does your Executive Day Conference Package include?

We have upgraded our Comprehensive Package to include some extras and an even more impressive menu:

  • Arrival coffee & a choice of speciality teas with mini Danish pastries, orange juice and mineral water
  • Mid morning coffee, a choice of speciality teas and home-made chocolate biscuits
  • Afternoon teas, coffee, orange juice or mineral water and biscuits
  • Hire of main session room between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm
  • Main meeting room set with any of the following: note pads and pencils, tent name cards, flip chart, pad and pens, overhead projector and screen (sized to suit delegate numbers), lectern, ad lib mineral water and orange juice
  • Excellent two course Chefs Executive selection hot and cold buffet with coffee, tea, orange juice or mineral water

We would like a half day conference with a light lunch, is this possible?

Yes it is. As we understand all training and conference days are designed to be different we have created a third Dissington conference package to be available from 1st January 2007.

This new package is the Half Day Conference Rate. This includes an arrival coffee, hire of one meeting room for up to 5 hours with the use of an OHP, Screen and Flipchart, a mid-morning coffee break with biscuits and a light finger buffet lunch. Please enquire for details or refer to the conference link above.

I have a delegate with a special dietary requirement, will this cause any problems?

Confirmation of final numbers and meal choices, including any special dietary requirements must be given at least 12 days prior to the conference. We will need to know in advance if any guest is diabetic, needs a gluten free diet or has a nut allergy etc. We will be able to advise an alternative option for these guests. If you are unsure of the ingredient content of your chosen menu we will be happy to help.

I have a delegate who requires disabled access, do you have ground floor rooms available?

Yes. There is access via the main entrance and the Garden room for the main house and via the Billiard room and Marquee for the lower part of the function suite. We will be happy to discuss any possible assistance required prior to booking as all rooms can be allocated to suit your specific needs.

What is the maximum capacity of your largest session room?

The maximum seated capacity in the Billiard Room theatre style is 130 delegates.

What is your cancellation policy and what are the associated costs?

In the event of cancellation, within 1 month of the event 50% of the estimated invoice total is payable, within 10 days 100% is payable.

Will the facilitator/course leader be able to arrive early to set up?

With advance notice the course leader or facilitator will be able to arrive early to set up the session room and discuss the timings of the day with Dissington staff.

Are we able to send resources direct to you in advance of our conference? Will you be able to store these for us?

We are able to take delivery of any resources you may wish to send direct to Dissington Hall in advance of the conference. We will store these for you until your booked date.

We require a high speed internet connection, will this be a problem?

No this will be fine. We have good Broadband access. Simultaneous internet connection for over 12 PCs has proved reliable.

What IT facilities are available in your conference rooms?

We have a category five hard wired network in the building and wireless network facilities in the main areas. We can hire you PCs and laptops and offer IT support. We can network your own or hired PCs for file sharing. Please let us know your exact requirements well in advance.

Are we able to view the conference room before we make a booking?

We invite you to view the conference facilities at Dissington Hall in advance of your conference. We would be delighted to discuss your individual needs to tailor your day to your specific requirements. Please call us and we will make a suitable appointment for you.

Do you require a booking deposit?

A small booking deposit will be required for new customers booking their first date at Dissington Hall. This will be deducted from the final invoice. We will discuss this with you at the confirmation stage of the booking process.

When do we pay the final invoice?

Payment terms are strictly 10 days from the invoice date.

I do not want require a full day conference, do you have a delegate rate which does not include lunch?

Where the delegate packages are not required then Room Hire will be charged at £4.20/m2 plus VAT per day or part of day. All extras will be charged according to the valid conference pack at the time of your booked date.

Do you have a minimum invoice value?

The minimum invoice value is £200.00 plus VAT per day. This is applicable to any conference where the delegate rate, when applied to your final numbers, does not equal this minimum required cost.
